HOW TO REACH

Arriving by Metro (subway/underground)

Cattolica International building is located between two GREEN (MM2) metro lines:
1. Cadorna (600 meters/0,37 miles total distance)
2. Sant’Ambrogio (300 meters/ 0.18 miles total distance)

By Bus

Bus #94 stops outside Cattolica International building on Via Giosuè Carducci, 28/30. Make sure you validate your ticket upon entering the bus. Insert the ticket into the ticket scanning machine.
Note: YOU CAN NOT BUY TICKETS ON THE TRAM OR BUS – THEY MUST BE BOUGHT IN ADVANCE

By Taxi/CAB

You can simply catch a taxi from your hotel or apartment to Cattolica International building. Always ask the taxi driver before entering how much the fare will be. Taxis are white and the car models differ. Please note, Taxis in Milan are not very cheap! Taxi phone number: 024040 or 028585

MILAN TRANSPORT TICKETS AND COSTS

A 90 minute ticket is €2.20. All tickets for the public transportation system can be purchased at newspaper kiosks, tobacco shops, or in the metro stations from machines or ticket booths. The same ticket can be used on all types of transport for up to 90 minutes.

After lunch, we will visit the Cinquecentine Room (http://biblioteche.unicatt.it/milano-collezioni-speciali-libri-antichi?rdeLocaleAttr=en), a private section of the university library conserving a prestigious collection of ancient books (cinquecentine and incunabula). The visit will be guided (in English) by the staff of the library.
